Depends if you're doing it yourself?

Did mine today:

Oil Total Quartz 7000 £28
Oil Filter
Air Filter
Sump Plug Washer £20 ( should of been more, dealer had no change Smile )

An hour in time.

Maybe throw in a fuel filter on top, don't know how much they are for yours mind.

£180 from pug for a 40k service... only really covers the basics though.

I've spent around £100 doing my car myself, but have upgraded a few bits from standard ie air filter, oil, spark plugs.

I did mine myself
But might be an idea to ask the garage/dealer u got urs from. If u didnt buy private. I called the garagae i got mine from. And they offered 145 for full service. With courtesy car. Only reason i didnt was because it was 10 miles from my work and my work is 23 miles from home. And i do 12 hour shifts

people forget that when your car is serviced a lot of other stuff is checked over too.

its all very well doing it yourself ( ive done my own services for years) but you still need to get it checked over every now and then by someone that knows what they are doing unless you know a lot about telltale signs of wear in components etc.

Isn't that what an MOT is for though?

just be wary if you have breakdown cover. ive got AA and they have in there small print that my car has to be serviced by a garage, pain in the a**e. but knowing my luck ill cancel it and then break down.
