The other day whilst in traffic my engine management light began flashing and the car felt like it was running on 3 cylinders.

I stopped the car and left it for around 45mins-1hr when i started it back up it was fine and then drove fine for the rest of the day??

Its a 2003 1.4 Petrol.

The way it went was very simular to the way my previous car felt when the coilpack was on the way out.

Any ideas??

You've pretty much answered your own question. Change spark plus first

True but Vauxhalls are different from peugeots just because it felt the same doesnt mean it is def the same component thats on its way out.

That is a good plan do you know what the prefered brand is?? i have read NGK's are a big no-no

Bosch is the best for 206s.

But getting it plugged into a fault code reader would be even better. However it will cost more than replacing the spark plugs.

Ill change the plug first as i have a sneaky feeling i may have used NGK's (this was before i came on this forum Embarassed ) and see how it goes as a first step.
