#1: Tuning Boxes Author: southwestchap, Location: DevonPosted: Sat May 07, 2011 1:58 am ---- Hey all,
Anyone rate those tuning boxes you see advertised on fleabay? Up around the £70-£100 mark. ??
Read around on the forums and on other cars there's mixed reviews.
Has anyone got one? Or better even, tried it on a 1.4hdi 206? I've looked into remapping but just a case of £250+
Just trying to get a little more poke out of the thing.
Cheers

A proper remap can give good reliable gains on turbo engines.
Different engine but I had 1.9 130 bhp diesel pushing 180bhp and 300ft/lb of torque reliably for almost a year reliably just from a remap and a 'Green' panel filter until I binned it.
