#1: 2.0hdi oil temp guage Author: LKHtyke, Location: chesterfieldPosted: Sat May 07, 2011 7:30 am ---- Hi all,Iv got a 2000 2.0hdi d turbo and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on a problem I have with the oil temperature gauge.
Basically when I turn the ignition on it does a double check(up to top and back down)but then just stays at 0 even after a two hour motorway journey.
It is due an oil change next week,though there is plenty in there.

Its a combined probe on this engine, try giving the connector plug a spray of electrical contact cleaner.
