#35: Re: Seb's Moonstone GTi Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Fri May 20, 2011 2:40 pm ---- Having spoken to the guys at the local place they said they probably wouldn't fail it any more due to some different regulations, however I'm not a massive fan!
#36: Re: Seb's Moonstone GTi Author: kurosagi01, Location: NorthamptonPosted: Sat May 21, 2011 2:30 am ---- Hm okay well i got a set of tinted rear lights but their not as smoked as those but pretty dark/black and it failed MOT,wasn't very pleased with it. The signaling is okay but when it comes to general light and brakes it doesn't shine through.
Could be needing new bulbs but i putted back on ph1 lights and it passed MOT so i don't know.
#37: Re: Seb's Moonstone GTi Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Sat May 21, 2011 10:40 am ---- MOT failed on two things:
Headlights are aimed too low...
Rear brake pads too low
So I've replaced the rear brake pads during the day and when it gets dark I'll align the headlights.
