I quite like this idea, because I think it is unique and quite modern, so was thinking of trying it.
Just wondering if anyone has done it before, or if there are any kits sold to do it?
Orr, if anybody knows a way I can do it/any ideas would be appreciated.

It's going to be difficult as the position is going to be everything but we will fill tweek the whole setup so it opens enough for me to work on the car but not vertical like the 106s.

Nah there for lazy sods who cant be bothered to lift the bonnet or use the bonnet prop when its open
Been a few people on the forum saying they where going to fit then on there 206 over the years, normally ends up to much work when they look in to it & they dont bother

They would be worn out on a Renault through overuse

Depends what pressure they are inside.
Gas struts come in different lengths & pressures, fit a to powerful strut on & the bonnet will shoot up
The pressure is normally marked on the gas strut in Newtons.

I suppose it would just be an issue of where to attach them under the bonnet

(Bonnet) Author: MrBSI, Location: What's it to you? ? ?Posted: Tue May 10, 2011 3:22 am ---- Bloke at work, his daughter has a 307 & the tailgate struts where really weak, luckily they where the same size in length as the gas struts we used to fit on ppt's so he fitted a pair of those, only issue was the ones we use where 1000 Newtons, her tailgate is now very rapid opening & even very high winds dont move it
