It looks a bit pointless bud, no offence
But you took the rear seats out to fit an install that could have fitted in the boot?

haha nar its the picture you cant really see it fully the 6x9's sit were the arm rests went in rear passenger cards and the sub box is alot bigger then it looks plus the 2 amps that sit infront of it. main reason i got rid of the seats is cause i never have anyone in back and spesh with my seats in front which dont move i dont expect people jumping threw haha ill show you properly sometime if you are going mod nats
#20: Re: The Green Machine Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Thu May 12, 2011 2:22 am ---- My view on this kind of thing is that if you like it, then fair enough.
My personal opinion is that it's the biggest waste of money in the world. I spent about 2.4k on my 206 when I had it, and felt like a complete moron when I sold it for 500 less than I'd bought it for 3 years before, it cost me 1k a year just for the car
I spent 4k on the silver VX, I sold it a year later for 6k more than I bought it for... Since then I vowed I would never spend money on things that a) I didn't need b) Didn't raise the value of the car c) I couldn't claim back if I wanted to.
Sorry for the rant, but I just think money is so much better spent elsewhere.
But I will give you credit, you're not even half the bellend some people who stick body kits on are.
#21: Re: The Green Machine Author: BigGreenDave, Location: The RiftPosted: Fri May 13, 2011 12:47 am ---- Haha that's cool mate everyone has there own taste I can guarantee I won't sell this car for as much but with me it's the joy of building it and seeing it finished. Everything on the car is home made expect obv the kit and seats. A fast car wasn't my thing high insurance more fuel and plus I'm not the best driver in the world haha.
But thanks for your comment anyway mate there are more petrol heads then high modifiers but I'm happy to be one for now :.P

Fair Doo's to that i know it isnt everyone's style but im not a trend follower ill set somthing new and make it work, i dont want it to look Max Power'd or Euro i just want it to look how i like it and if that means putting some deep dish 9j Alurads on then thats cool with me, ill make it work.
usher wrote:

Atm its just normal car paint that i got from Enzo who painted the car as its just for testing atm but when i pick the colour i want then its powder coating. last time i rattled wheels i used jet wash and watched it come straight back off aha
D4NTP wrote:

Atm there 25mil hubcentric spacer on front and back but the rear arch is abit deeper so yes ill be buying 35mil to match them up better

I'll be putting it back on after I replace the rear axle, disk brakes are sexier :.D
The pigs break up the plainness without bumper strips and handles its very plain green. It makes it sexy :.P but thanks for the opinion (Richard SceneGraphix Wright) if I'm selling it, I'll post it there first.

Pigs have gone
And the reg plate in the wrong place, end of the day I didn't show the plate on the car but in the window which I can understand in alot of southern places is more than frowned apon, but if it had to go on I'd have stuck it on the side.

Worst decision ever.
Why did you sell BGD?

#88: Re: The Green Machine (UPDATED 25/7/12) PAGE 5 Author: BigGreenDave, Location: The RiftPosted: Fri Sep 06, 2013 4:49 am ---- The speakers on the dash was a kinda way of saying f*** what you think I won't do what you tell me, look what I can do. I'm not a follower I don't do things just because its how it should be done I do things because it can be done! And I was happier then ever with the build!
And hell yes it was super loud haha that's the main thing I miss about it. The crisp sound system.
And thanks son! I'm glad it inspired you! And I sold it due to I had done all I could do. And I was so obsessed with perfection I wouldn't take it out of the garage and it became a show car only not my regular daily driver anymore. Which bugged me. So I got something with a bigger engine more doors and drift able :.P

Haha thanks even now it makes me smile knowing people appreciated it. I loved it but I needed a RWD beast! But I'm hoping the Merc becomes as well known as the Pug!
