I'd go with the 1.4HDi or the 2.0HDi I think, probably the 1.4.
#3: Re: The best 206 for MPG Author: kieron, Location: in the housePosted: Thu May 12, 2011 2:52 am ---- 1.4 hdi do around 62 mpg and also only 30 pound per year to tax, all round cheap car to run
#4: Re: The best 206 for MPG Author: Twidly, Location: Home - Norfolk, Uni - PrestonPosted: Thu May 12, 2011 3:03 am ---- 2.0 HDi is miles better than the 1.9, used to cost me £55 in my mum's 1.9 to go to my boyfriend's and back, & it costs me £45 in my 2.0 (:
I would've thought the 1.4 HDi is better, but it's slow. So I'd rather the 2.0 anyday

Not quicker than the 2.0 though
The 'book' 0-60 times for it mean it's not much faster than the 1.9, which is why I didn't buy one lol!
But as long as you enjoy your car then that's all that matters (:

#11: Re: The best 206 for MPG Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Thu May 12, 2011 4:34 am ---- whats wrong with the 1.6hdi? And you could always get the 2.0hdi and turn the turbo down if if used too much fuel for you. Tightwodge*cough*
In all fairness all of the above mentioned do more than mine. Especially when giving it the beans most of the way back from the trafford centre

It was your face that made me laugh. I shall never mention it again. Unless it's to take the focus away from something I have done.
