window problem

The metal thing with the motor fastened to it. The thing with the metal wires that moves the window up and down.

You shouldn't have swapped the electric motor with the manual one, you should have swapped the whole thing. Drilled the rivets out, swapped the whole mechanism and re-riveted it.

Sound's like you've f****d it with messing about trying to swap the motors, probably released some tension in the mechanism or lost a spring

nah i dont think its knakered, so as it is then, all i have to do is drill out the rivets in each corner, then the i take it everything will come out the door?, or is there something else that need to be removed, also looked at the runners & the mechanism & they look identical, just the manual winder has the metal bit attached to it for the handle, so what is the difference
