#1: Dial/electrical issue? Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Mon May 16, 2011 5:56 pm ---- This has happened a few times now, I have been sat in the car for a while with the ignition on; it doesn't go into eco mode but the dials make that clicking sound as they wake up and all the lights come on. The millage indicator, stop light and fuel light start flashing (I didn't even know the fuel light could do that). Oh and the dial illumination comes on but only dim.
Here is a slightly poor picture but you get the idea.
Whats going on? :s I have not come across this problem on info before and search failed me.

ESP warning light on, does your car even have ESP fitted?
Could also be a loose connection between instrument cluster & BSI
#5: Re: Dial/electrical issue? Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Wed May 18, 2011 7:23 am ---- battery seems pretty good tbh. It has two ESP warning lights, but no it doesn't. Although it has come on before when cornering hard which is quite strange. I will check the cable. Could it be anything else? Also if it is the BSI software what am I looking at cost wise? I don't mind if its just a bug but if the system it slowly courrupting I will not be happy.

The cluster only has 1 ESP warning light.
The other one will be for the ABS.
Skidding car in a triangle is ESP
Skidding car in a circle is ABS
