You would use your own chip in.

Yes that is the right key.

All you have to do is take the guts out of your old key along with the transponder chip and simple place in the new key. Then you will have to get the blade cut.

Very simple job to do

Each to their own, I like mine and the buyers from my 2 group buys seem to like them.

Will go in one of the 2 slots in the case. To remove it from the old one is easy as it should slip out.

Once the key is cut it's a 2 minute job to swap everything over. Not knowing how long the old battery had been in for, I changed that at the same time. Next job is to get a second hand circuit board, and a new transponder from Lee then I will have a spare remote key.

BTW, I love mine, saves putting holes in your jean pockets with the key blade.

Pfft, flip keys are awesome. They are more bulky than the normal key, but they are much cooler looking, far more comfortable in the pocket and fun to flip open and closed when you're bored.

Only had a quick look, but thought they were vacuumed.

Injection isn't that much harder tho, did that at a-level Laughing

But saying that, no point in p**sing about when you can buy them for $2

Yeah I think they are tbf, they have slight dips in the plasic that a vac form couldnt handle, or atleased the one at our place cant lol..

Doesn't matter how they're made. The 2 I've had have been fine quality. Very solid.

My blade has gone gold and it needs that special touch to get the key to flip out properly.
