Just got back from the garage, and the car flew through it's MOT. No advisories. It was described as a good example.

Filled up with Shell v-power before setting off on the 38 mile journey to the garage. CO2 0.09% (0.20), HC 18ppm (200), Lambada 1.003 (0.970 - 1.030) (limits in brackets)

Just shows that regular maintainance and weekly checks keep the car in top condition.

With small engines like ours it just shows money is better spent on servicing than mods Smile I had my MOT in September and had similarly good results to you

It last had a service over 12 months ago so I'm going to get that done soon and get a couple of niggles sorted (I think the crankshaft pulley needs doing due to horrible squeek, and thrust bearing as I can hear a clank when I put the throttle on in a low gear, or even bring the clutch up slowly when stationary with the window open)
