Becuase some little b*****d broke into my car i now need a new window/slash door.
iv seen a door of a 206 gti 180 2005 3dr and wondered if anyone knew if the electric window wiring and the central locking mechanismwould be compatible to my 2007 1.4 look 3dr?

Final thought...get glass cover on your insurance!!!

You dont even have to remove the door card to change the lock barrel, remove the small black rubber bung & screw a tool in to remove / refit the barrel securing clip Wink

Does your LOOK have deadlocking fitted?

A GTI 180 does, swop the door lock motor from your original door if your car hasnt got deadlocking.

it supposedly does have deadlocking (flashes like mad for 30+ secs when pressed lock twice) so should be no problem Smile out of interest what does it do? lol.
thanks a lot

You DON'T have deadlocking fitted from the description.

Your second button press on the lock button of your remote fob is activating the car park finding function Wink

Your 206 has normal remote central locking, you need to swop the lock motor from inside your original door, you MIGHT also need to swop the wiring loom as well, pretty easy its just plugs & clips.
