Either:
Live with it
OR
Take it to Peugeot & get the BSI software updated.

As a HDI GTI owner it will end up back at a Peugeot main dealer sooner or later
#5: Re: Trip meter jumping Author: mattymj, Location: NorfolkPosted: Mon May 23, 2011 4:15 pm ---- If its like mine it copies the last few digits of the actual mileage! Very strange
#6: Re: Trip meter jumping Author: meady, Location: basingstokePosted: Mon May 23, 2011 4:16 pm ---- why would you want to live with it because surely that could mean the mileage of the car isnt acurate, ???
#7: Re: Trip meter jumping Author: mattymj, Location: NorfolkPosted: Mon May 23, 2011 4:23 pm ---- The mileage is fine, it is the trip that changes, lucky the 180 has a trip build into the computer centre console

I answered his first question, the OP then asks a second question so I answered that as well

Youre not alone, mine does it as well, but its never really bothered me.
#16: Re: Trip meter jumping Author: continentalgt, Location: Paignton DevonPosted: Thu Jul 28, 2011 2:24 pm ---- My 1.4 hdi used to do this before I replaced the battery, the battery would start the car but I guess the voltage would drop to a point where it affected the trip computer and the radio station tuning.
Changed the battery 6 months ago and hasn't happened since.
