My trip meter jumps in big gaps. Friday it was 78 yesterday i looked it should have just broke a 100 but it reads 538. Any ideas it doesnt do it all the time say 5 in every 10 resets.

Thanks

Its a known BSI software bug.

Either:

Live with it

OR

Take it to Peugeot & get the BSI software updated.

why would you want to live with it because surely that could mean the mileage of the car isnt acurate, ???

The mileage is fine, it is the trip that changes, lucky the 180 has a trip build into the computer centre console

If you're going to be picky Lee, he didn't ask a second question at all. You did just take the p*ss out of his choice of car gratuitously.

My 1.4 hdi used to do this before I replaced the battery, the battery would start the car but I guess the voltage would drop to a point where it affected the trip computer and the radio station tuning.
Changed the battery 6 months ago and hasn't happened since.
