#2: Re: Changing lower arms Author: Seabook, Posted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 1:06 pm ---- my only word is make sure you use good wishbone.
#3: Re: Changing lower arms Author: meady, Location: basingstokePosted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 1:07 pm ---- and get a price from elsewhere other than pug
#4: Re: Changing lower arms Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 1:08 pm ---- Basically if there cheaper than £40 a side they're crap budget ones and will last about 3-4 months if your lucky.
IIRC last time I went to pug they were around £80 a side, got OEM ones elsewhere for ~£60 a side I think, I also replaced my droplinks and all the bolts/washers ect.
#5: Re: Changing lower arms Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 1:08 pm ---- The wishbones will be Peugeot ones, and my dad works for Peugeot so I get parts at cost price + vat so don't mind buying my stuff from Peugeot

#7: Re: Changing lower arms Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 1:55 pm ---- So there's nothing else I should change while I'm there other than lower arms and wishbones?

#14: Re: Changing lower arms Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:28 pm ---- I should get them alot cheaper than that mate to be honest, other things I've bought have roughly been slightly higher than half price so that's what I'm hoping for this time
#15: Re: Changing lower arms Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:31 pm ---- If it's got anything to do with keeping my car on the road, and not finding a ditch I never grumble about the price lol
Better still if you get a discount like Sir Furryhobnob
