#1: Front coil spring broken Author: deanparkr, Location: United KingdomPosted: Sun Jun 12, 2011 12:43 pm ---- Just got back home after having the RAC out. Heard a really loud knock noise when turning a corner. RAC investigated the fault to the front side coil spring and towed me home.
Very nice service by the RAC!
Will be taking the car to garages tomorrow and just wondered what 206-ers thought the price should be for replacement springs.
Also, is it worth doing the other springs at the same time?
Thanks for any advice

That seems to make sense. I'll try and get them both done in that case.
Kudos to RAC today though. First time I've called break-down people and its certainly worth having the cover!

I had mine fail on an MOT didn't take long to do myself.
