I just bought Nimrod alloys the tyres is 195/45/16 at front and 205/45/16 at rear. My mate told me that it will be MOT fail as it's different sizes. Is my mate tell the truth?

Im sure lots of cars have wider rear tyres, should be fine.

If in doubt, stick you head into an MOT place as your passing and ask. They are the ones who have the final say and they are the first to get the VOSA guidelines.

(god knows why he has alloys on rear and steels on front, how he brought it 2-3years ago )
