#1: rev counter locking at 1100 revs then dying Author: connoroverthrow, Location: south westPosted: Fri Jun 17, 2011 7:31 am ---- hi, my rev counter has recently decided to die but then all of a sudden works slightly for a few seconds, itll sometimes rev up to about 1100 lock and keep clicking there, then just drop to zero. iv recently had the crank pulley seal changed and iv been told the rev counter sensor is located there so i dont know if that could be anything to do with it. iv checked the connection behind the cluster and its secure but im not sure exactly the location of the sensor on the on the crankpulley seal or how to get to it, any ideas on a quick fix, could it be dodgey cluster or sensor??
cheers connor
