#1: how much movement should there be? Author: spud_owen, Location: ashby de la zouchPosted: Sat Jun 18, 2011 5:44 am ---- how much movement should there be in the gear box engine mount? ive got abit of movement from somewhere and although this replaced mount a couple of months ago i think it might have gone again. i removed it today and took some photos see below, is this worn or deos that seem about the right ammount of movement to have photos show the metal section in the extreme right and the extreme left position.

yeah i could move it left to right as the pictures, proably about 5mm from the centre each way, also should be metal sleve be wedged in the rubber as i coud take it out very easily?

cheers will measure mine if i take it off again, its not a difficult job but you got o undo so many bolts!!!
