Are 138s/180 doomed to a short life? As I have heard they are delicate
I'm not sure it's that there delicate, more that most of them live an abused life lol.

during idle the oil pressure is at min. it will not lubricate the top bit of the engine well

It's not the most well looked after, I do service it, but smooth driving is more of a treat to the car rather more so than me treating myself to a "spirritied drive" shall we say
