#1: Correct Tire Pressure Author: 206Xt, Location: Costa RicaPosted: Mon Jun 20, 2011 3:30 pm ---- What do you think is the better tire pressure for a 4 door, 1.6L 206??
I use 30PSI for the front and the rear tires, but it seems that the front tires need more pressure because they look kind of deflate when the car is stop.
#3: Re: Correct Tire Pressure Author: meady, Location: basingstokePosted: Mon Jun 20, 2011 3:33 pm ---- If they are the standerd alloys it should say the pressure on a sticker on the drivers b piller door shut along with the paint code
#4: Re: Correct Tire Pressure Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Jun 20, 2011 3:38 pm ---- Tyre pressure does not change no matter which size alloys you fit to the car.

So, that's why I want to read your opinions...
What size tyre's do you have at the front?
#6: Re: Correct Tire Pressure Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Mon Jun 20, 2011 4:04 pm ---- I go 33 at the front, 31 at that back
My sticker has two diagrams, one that says 33 on all four, and another that says as above
#7: Re: Correct Tire Pressure Author: EdCherry, Location: WiltshirePosted: Mon Jun 20, 2011 5:06 pm ---- Tyre pressure does however change as soon as you move away from the OEM tyres.
Therefore this is all bulls**t, unless you still buy the same ones.

When I changed away from the standard tyres & also changed the wheel size I emailed Michelin technical for advice & they advised me 33 psi front & rear for my application.
33 psi front & rear would be a good starting point for any 206, if anybody wants exact information ask the tyre manufacture & see how good there customer services is.

Seems that I'm going to test with 33 on the front. I have the same 14 wheels the car come with, and now, instead of using Michelin tires I'm using Bridgestone... but with the same measurements of 185/65/R14.
#11: Re: Correct Tire Pressure Author: Danny1, Location: ManchesterPosted: Sat Jul 02, 2011 6:53 am ---- 33 front 31 bks
