Immobliser Key PUG 206 HDI 2.0

Good Morning

Last week my immobliser key stopped locking my doors although the LED

lights still worked off the key. I thought it would be the battery and this

morning i have fitted a new battery but things are still the same. I have

tried reprogramming the key but the LED lights dont stay on for

20 seconds so I cannot get passed step one. As anybody experienced a

similar problem or can suggest checking anything else.

I have tried reprogramming my key without success. I have rang the peugeot dealers this afternoon and they

have confirmed that the key is ok because the LED's light and the engine starts. They say the fault is on the central locking on the car probably a wiring fault or a sensor. Anyway to find out they have to use their diagnostic equipment before the bad news is given.

I checked the fuses today but they seem ok as anybody had a similar problem.
