Where is my EGR valve?

#1: Where is my EGR valve? Author: xspongerx, Location: Newquay, Cornwall PostPosted: Thu Jun 23, 2011 12:11 pm

Hi guys,
I have read various posts on this forum about blocking the EGR valve or disconnecting the EGR plug.

Had a look under my engine bay and I can find it, atall. There is a pipe coming off the back of the exhaust manifold and goes into the same place as the air filter.

The pipe is about 20mm in diameter so it doesnt look like the others EGR's.

Can anyone help? Its a 1999 1.9D Sad

Still waste of time anyway, even on a HDI. Does very little, makes MPG worse and makes the car harder to start.
