1) What seat's did the Xsi come out of the factory with?

2) Everytime I accelerate there is a slight delay before the power hit's. The car rev's up and start's to move faster then it's like the power come's all in a big burst. Sometime's it can take up to 2 second's which I know doesn't sound a long time but when your trying to accelerate it seem's like a eternity. It only happen's in 1st, 2nd and third gear. It wasn't like this when I first got it and it is starting to get on my raspberry ripple's now. The car in question is a 2002 1.6 16v Xsi. I know this may be a simple problem but I could do with any input.

Thanking you.

Sport seats with airbags I think, unless you got the optional extra of full leather or the 5 door version of the GTi seats

Clutch slipping

Depends what clutches they use, in theory no, as diesels have more torque and it's torque that affects the clutch, not power.

It's because young kids with petrol are generally boy racers who do a lot of grand prix starts and wheel spins and hold it on the clutch all the time
