If you were local I would, there's something calming about cleaning a car

I disagree.

I find that when cleaning it I notice all the imperfections like chips, scratches lacquer cracks etc. So I get annoyed Laughing

i might move down your way so you can clean mine then. i spent about 50 squid on all the cleaning gear the other week. when i'd finished it looked worse than when i started so i had to cheat and take it to the hand car wash lol.

I agree I get annoyed at stone chips etc, still it looks better clean with stone chips than dirty with stone chips lol

The thing is when tour doing your own car you can stop like I have now, I'm going to go and do the interior in a min, you can't do that when your getting paid for it, I do love cleaning it though and the missus is happy that my hobby is relatively inexpensive, well after you've spent a couple hundred on decent cleaning products Wink

Depend's if you have the time, The Iraq's near me are actually pretty good. I do know though If I did have the time I could think of better thing's to do in three hour's than clean my car Laughing

I'm just trying to keep myself busy mate because if I stop I'll fall asleep lol, and the polish near me are bad for cleaning cars, use dirty sponges and water, I would rather clean the car with p**s and a Brillo pad Wink

I know it can, I think a machine polisher is next on my list but it will purely be for my own car, I wouldn't want to do it for a living all the time, but i can understand why other people would, great way to earn money doing something your passionate about

I refuse to clean the 308 regular as the missus drives it more than me and she doesn't care at all! And she's curbed the 17 inch alloys on it which would annoy me when cleaning them, sometimes I give in and just clean it as it makes the drive look untidy.....bloody women haha

Wise words, it can indeed Laughing

Incidently what was your routine today? Because if Andrew is machine polishing next week anything more than a simple wash and clay would be totally wasted Laughing

It was basically a clean with with autoglym shampoo, some aqua wax and finished with megs quick detailer, I'm dying to get the clay bars out but Andrew told me to save mine as he will be claying it before the machine polish on monday
