#1: 206Gti Needs Raising Author: carrolabs, Location: NewcastlePosted: Tue Jun 28, 2011 8:29 am ---- My 206 has been dropped - shocks,springs and torsion bar so wondering how to raise the level of the rear bar as i have just had the shocks and springs changed and its still to low on the rear

Don't they mean lowered Lee? Just take it to a garage and instead of having them lower the torsion bar have them raise it. simples.

yeh was going to say. sounded like it had been lowered not the whole suspension has collapsed
Raising the torsion bar should be easy enough seen as its already been done. Source yourself some new struts with coils from a scrap yard and get them changed over would be the easiest and you can sell the others.

i have had a few "already been done" and been right gits
took all day with heat and huge hammer to get a "already lowered" 180 bar out
my new car has been done but couldnt get it out other day when i had a quick go :lol;

It's a job worth getting done in a garage tbh, some places are good and do it for £100 or less, others take the p**s and ask for alot more.
