#1: Beep with heavy acceleration? Author: Ben.M, Location: SuffolkPosted: Wed Jul 06, 2011 5:40 am ---- Sometimes when I'm in first gear(obviously) and want to get away fast and accelerate fairly quickly, I can hear a single beep coming from infront of me. No lights or change in engine response, just that one beep. Only happened on 2 occasions but I'm just worried what it is???
When I say accelerate fast, I'm not talking spinning wheels, it's a 1.1 ffs
Any help would be much appreciated!

#3: Re: Beep with heavy acceleration? Author: rob_1990, Location: Cambridge UKPosted: Wed Jul 06, 2011 5:52 am ---- It might be the boot sensor being a little loose, i had this just tightened the boot catch up a bit.
#4: Re: Beep with heavy acceleration? Author: hobnob48, Posted: Wed Jul 06, 2011 6:12 am ---- I used to get a beep when I went around a corner or broke heavy. Turns out I needed brake fluid.

#7: Re: Beep with heavy acceleration? Author: Ben.M, Location: SuffolkPosted: Wed Jul 06, 2011 2:20 pm ---- I cant see any warning lights come up when it beeps. If it just flashes once then I wouldnt see it anyway.
Why would it be a low brake fluid warning if im not touching the brake??? :/
Thanks for the input everyone

There is a level sensor in the brake fluid reservoir. When you accelerate or go round bends, the fluid level drops at the sensor position, making the sensor to think that the level is low.
The level decreases as the pads wear as more fluid is needed in the calipers. Just top it up and it should stop the beep.
