#1: one thing after another :( Author: EnzoGirl, Location: Manchester PostPosted: Wed Jul 06, 2011 2:16 pm

can anyone help??

It started off that the centre console stopped working, so the fuse was changed and it worked again... then the rear wiper stopped working so i took the fuse out and put it back in again and it started working again.... then ive gone to lock my car today and the central locking has stopped working. I dont have the faintest clue whats goining on.... ive checked the fuses and they all seem fine, dis-connected the battery then re-connected it and still nothing. ive even reset the key fob and thats not working.

Can anyone shed some light????????????

i done the same thing with those exact fuses, if u have swapped the fuses about in the fuse box under the stearing collum u have props taken the fuse for your central locking, you will have to look through your car manual to see what the exact one is but hopefully that sorts your problem out

i did the same thing, i had a blown fuse and thought the ones in the very bottom row of the fusebox under the sterring colum where the spares (silly, i know) took one out and the central locking stoppped working. this is what im guessing you have done just swap the fuse back and the centra locking will be fine Smile

ha ha ha i dont blame you lol. i was looking through the manual and it didnt say anything about them and there was no numbers on them so i just assumed that they were nothing special. i now have a slight hatred of fuses now tho :-/ lol

ha ha i dont normally look in the manual cause its not the right one for my car so dont really bother but thought it should work on the same principal lol... i think unless i desperatley need it im not gonna go near them lol. i cant believe how much stuff goes wrong by changing a few fuses but i guess thats the french wiring for you lol

Why swap fuses about in the first place. Blade fuses are only a few pence so just buy a multi pack and leave them in the glovebox. Saves a lot of messing when a fuse does go.
