Kind of agree, I think colour matched to the black of the car would have looked better. Cause it's very dark like black yet not quite the same as the paint so tiny bit mis matched to me.
Still does look good though just think it would have been better completely different colour wise or the same.

gotta get mine re-done at some point but really cant decide weather to leave them silver or have a change of colour
Get a different colour pal
thinking of getting them colour matched to the bodywork but unsure if that will be too much might get a 2nd set and have a go see what they look like

#72: Re: Anthracite vortex's fitted :-) Author: Swardy, Location: CambridgePosted: Fri Jul 08, 2011 5:22 pm ---- After seeing them tonight I can say they look better in the flesh than in the photos. I personally don't think there's too much black, but even so that will be fixed when you finish your other plans mate. The red calipers, red lions, and phase 2 rear lights will break it up nicely.
Of course if you don't like them you could always buy my nimmies off me mate? I doubt I'll clean your car for you tho!
cheers dude!
#73: Re: Anthracite vortex's fitted :-) Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Fri Jul 08, 2011 10:10 pm ---- Cheers pal I do agree with you that they look better in the flesh, still not 100 percent on them at the min though
#74: Re: Anthracite vortex's fitted :-) Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Sat Jul 09, 2011 2:25 pm ---- Looking good dude I think you should keep them like that
When you come down, if you want to paint your calipers red I have a tin with loads left in, we could do that if you wanted, I just done my mates today lol
#75: Re: Anthracite vortex's fitted :-) Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Sat Jul 09, 2011 2:39 pm ---- I've already got some red paint left over from when I did the calipers on my silver gti, they will be getting done in the next week or so, but thanks for the offer pal
