As above.... Must be available from saturday lunchtime, have MSA co-drivers license, overalls and helmet (preferably with Peltor comms).

Other requirements.... must be able to read roadbooks but I can teach you, have a good travel stomach and HUGE b**lls

Lee, the regs say that you cannot compete unless a driver and co-driver are in the vehicle.

My license doesn't cover stage rallies mac, although will cover most other rallies up to national b status of event. I can certainly shout, but my full face muffles it a bit...

Worth checking Ed... You only need a non-race license at national B level

You only need a non-race license..... think its £39 with no test...

But you need Peltor helmet with intercom, MSA race suit and boots

I've got the gear somewhere (if not I can borrow it)... just no license. Seems I might be on holiday then anyway which is a shame actually as I could probably have sorted a license before then.

I have had an email from a regular co-driver who is looking for the seat on this rally so I am sorted and the entry is in. Thanks to all who offered help.
All I need now is a digital camcorder and mount for the roll cage to record our progress Wink

I am not very clever when it comes to camcorders.... how many minutes of footage can you record continually on what size memory card?

What sort of power lead does it need?

What kind of fitting is needed to screw it to a roll cage mount?

#32: Re: Rally co-driver wanted for stage rally 24th September Author: Seabook PostPosted: Sat Jul 16, 2011 10:44 am

each battery should be able to record 90 min. i got 1 spare battery.

i got a 2gb sd card, should record about 60 mins.

in terms of the rollcage mount i have no idea. my kit looks like this

i think might be a few p-clip around the cam and then use the jubliee clip to hold that onto the roll bar?

I think my wife has one of those in her bedside drawer Shocked

I may need to buy one off that website. Can you have a look for me and see what the dog cam ones are like for me Wink

how long do you need to record?

think the cheapest one should do the job well?

www.dogcamsport.co.uk/...amera.html

1.5 hrs battery life, take up to 32gb memory card, also got the special rollcage mount too.

There are loads of cams for rallying mate.

Best combo I had way just a camcorder with audio input for the intercom.

You need specific mounts or at least something descent or you wont pass scrutineering.

They are VERY fussy about it
