#1: two problems to start off with, help needed. Author: p206gti, Location: meltham, west yorksPosted: Sat Jul 09, 2011 1:04 pm ---- Hello there everybody, newbie here with a couple of questions but im sure there will be more to come!!
First off we just got our 206 gti (v reg) home to find the display at the top of the dash isnt working, there's no time date etc nothing just blank, is it easy to take out and what is the likely hood its something simple or do they just die?
Secondly thisone might be more expensive i fear, the front car looks like its been lowered but the back is sticking up in the air and just looks very high to me, ive been looking at threads and maybe its the rear beam thats faulty or is it a case of the torsion bars are knackered and need replaceing, i know there's no spare wheel in the back so there's no wieght but i cant believe it should be that high.

Author: DeadEyePaul, Location: Rugby,WarwickshirePosted: Sat Jul 09, 2011 3:21 pm ---- Good luck with the clock, if your unsure about soldering check out YouTube the tutorials on there which are very good (missed too much of school to learn this skill) you apply the iron to the broken component on the board to heat it (2-3 secs) then touch the part with the solder the solder should flow onto the broken part
