#1: Help with lights needed please Author: L18LTM, Location: ScunthorpePosted: Sun Jul 10, 2011 4:35 am ---- My 180 is getting sold on friday, last night I got pulled by police for having a light out, so I went to change the bulb, and it was working fine, but I changed it anyway. Worked fine when I texted it. Today, driving to work, the light was out again ? I checked the bulb and it was fine. Bassically my dipped beam works when it feels like it. Any ideas on this ?
I think it could be a loose earth connection ?
Has anybody elce had this problem before ?
Thanks for the help in advance

#5: Re: Help with lights needed please Author: macj, Location: EssexPosted: Sun Jul 10, 2011 5:14 am ---- which light is it?.... side light holder can corrode giving a poor connection on the bulb. Disconnect and clean the contacts with a small screwdriver. Make sure all lights are off before you do it though
#6: Re: Help with lights needed please Author: rttam, Location: devonPosted: Sun Jul 10, 2011 5:50 am ---- loose/dirty connection
clean all the connections for the lights with contact cleaner or similar and push them all tightly together should be fine then
