#1: Drove fine and now doesnt start Author: p_anit, Location: BirminghamPosted: Mon Jul 11, 2011 12:38 pm ---- I had my car into the garage as something to do with the clutch went. Picked it up earlier and drove it home fine without any trouble. (5-6miles)
Just got into the car to take it for a spin and it now it doesnt even start or turn over. When i take the key out of the ignition the locks seem to be clicking loads but not as loud as if i was locking the car.
I can see the clock display come on very slightly and also the battery light in the dash but is very dim when i turn the key to start.
Ive tried to roll the car down the road and jump start it but as its not even turning over ive had no luck with that.
Has anyone had this before or have any idea what it could be.
Called the guy from the garage and he said he would be out in the morning but until then i have no idea.

If you have jump leads connect one to the earth on the battery and the other side to something like the manifold and try it. If you do not have jump leads use some thick wire if you have any.

Have tried the old coat hanger but just not working....and don't have a spare key!
