gear box oil level

hey
a have a 1.1 206 51 plate and would like to now how to check gear box oil level and also how much the gear box holds as a may drain/fill with new oil,

It holds 2 litres. If its not been changed in a while then do it. You can not overfill them. If you remove the battery and tray you will see a black plastic cap on top of the gearbox where you can put the oil in.
If you want to empty the oil fast and make a big mess pull the drive-shaft out Whistle... However there is a better way of doing it.

you can overfill them just pours straight back out

I mean you can not damage them from putting too much in.

depends on how much you mean too much.

but in general it will put more pressure onto the oil seal,

more oil=lower gear oil temp= stiffer gearchange
