#1: rebuild after crash :( Author: jdavies3, Location: englandPosted: Mon Jul 11, 2011 2:55 pm ---- So I finally crash thanks to a t**t up my rear and pushes me off the road at 6 in the morning on the way to work resulting in me get spinning and landing in a ditch and through a fence and the other guy gets off scott free and f**ks off swiftly…
Damage done:
• Cracked fuel filter
• Bent rear shock
• Exhaust ripped off
• Two shredded tyres
• Two screwed steelies
• Pushed in bumper (f****d)
Shopping list
• Fuel filter
• Set of Nimrods
• Bumper
• Rear shocks
• Exhaust system
• Tyres
• Side skirts FK automotive
Stage 1
Bodywork….
One new bumper…
Just started on the bumper today, rubbed down with 250 grit to take off the plastic polish that it came delivered with , then primed and smoothed with 250 grit again…
Ahhh f**k ive have no primer or 1200 grit wet and dry paper…..
UPDATE 13/07/2011
wheels came and rubbing down begins...

satin black paint got (couldnt get charcoal grey :()
laquer ordered

They do look good but are a bugger to clean all the time. I gave them a quick wipe down before I packed them but you can still see where brake dust has stuck on them in places. So unless your going to wipe them down every day I would suggest going a darker colour. I meant to send you a spare Center cap I have with them but forgot to chuck it in so if you want it let me know and I will send it in a envelope. Also if you have ran out of sandpaper I would stock up because you will need a lot if your going to sort these wheels out yourself

haha no worries mate nah i will either vapotmat em or sandblast them at work
