I thought that they would be heavier but when i got a Vortex in one hand and a Nimrod in the other the vortex's are quite a bit lighter.

#18: Re: Random Question Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Wed Jul 13, 2011 2:33 am ---- They must have had tyres on because nimrods definatetly weigh less. If they don't then the research I did a few years ago was wrong.

Give it an hour then
#23: Re: Random Question Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Wed Jul 13, 2011 2:46 am ---- Well, I didn't take weeks going through the OEM wheels weight checking for no reason. So as I said, unless my information was given to me false, the Nimrods were what I ended up with, because they were lighter.

#28: Re: Random Question Author: Steve180, Location: CoventryPosted: Thu Feb 23, 2012 3:29 am ---- Just to clear this up. The true 206 GTi 180 alloys (non centre capped) are 2.4 KGs lighter than the standrad GTi alloys.
GTi alloys: with tyres 17.13KGs
GTi 180 alloys: with tyres 15.008kgs
Just checked this on our weight machine at work and confirmed it with the O/E spec on Servicebox.
