#10: Re: Sprayed black plastic strip Author: L5_UKS, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Fri Jul 15, 2011 9:17 am ---- Think it was £65 for the passengers side one. There hard to find being the carbon look ones.
#11: Re: Sprayed black plastic strip Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Fri Jul 15, 2011 9:20 am ---- The carbon bit is only the top bit that pops off, I got offered one for £50 so might take it
#12: Re: Sprayed black plastic strip Author: L5_UKS, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Fri Jul 15, 2011 9:25 am ---- Yeah £50 is a good price to be honest. Dont think you will find a cheaper one, you get people charging stupid prices there's one on ebay now, for just the passenger mirror, they want £125!

Yeah will be needing him todo afew things for me inc getting that strip sprayed gloss black, think gloss black will look good on mine because ive got my gloss black wheels, Ive decided to keep them on i was going to go for grey but decided to just stick with black so its going to be a black and blue theme, still undecided on caliper colour though, you doing your calipers red?

Don't use halfrauds caliper paint, its w**k. I used Hammerite Smooth, ended up being very good!

#27: Re: Sprayed black plastic strip Author: AX-Rated, Location: Swansea, WalesPosted: Mon Jul 18, 2011 8:24 am ---- Funnily enough, after breaking mine whilst trying to get it off to get all the dead leaves and helicopter seed things (shows how grown up I am), there's clearly a knack to getting these rails off.
At the boot end, there's a clip which seems to be bonded onto the strip and pinned into your car.
I unfortunately broke both of mine and they cant be bought individually, only with a new strip costing loads from Pug.
The black is coming off mine and its strangely silver underneath.
Was thinking how a 206 in different colours would look with these in silver!? Maybe like some sort of Audi RS3 chrome touch effects!?
Being black, I can suffer some colouritis as im thinking of doing the alloys black soon and need something thats off colour.
