#1: How do you Change Oil and Fuel Filters on a 2.0Hdi? Author: vaughan1993, Location: Sheffield, South YorkshirePosted: Fri Jul 15, 2011 9:03 am ---- Hi everyone
I have had my car for about 6 months and decided to service the car myself to save on cash.
I know how to change the oil, air filter and pollen filter but am unsure how to change the oil and fuel filters. Can anyone point me into the right direction either ny pointing me to another thread (have looked but cannot seem to find one) or by explaining in a step by step guide (with pics if possible).
Also while I am posting wondered is it hard to fit a dump valve?
Any adive will be appreciated.
Cheers
Dan

dump valve is good as he is going to buy it off from me
you probably want to use the oil filter chain to take off the filter.
at least i can't take it off by hand.

fuel filter i think depends on the model, on mine it was in the engine bay at the front in a housing, fuel system needed priming after i had changed it though

Not very clued up with mechanical side of the car but my mates gunna help me change it. Just need to know where it is and how it comes on and off?
Also is it possible to change the oil filter without the tool or will I round the thread off trying?
