there's loads of blue smoke first thing in mornin untill engine is warm then not as much but still too much.
Any info will be great

could be another of other thing like rings and to test them you will need to do a compression test
to test the Valve stem seals the head will need to be taken of and tested

If you are going to take the head off to test the oil seals, you might as well strip the head down, re grind the valve seats and replace the oil seals. No point just taking it apart to check and then put back together without doing anything.

Depends on the garage ! Not all garages will have the tools to do this! I used coltec racing as there really near they specialise in only engine tuning and rebuilds
