AFAIK there's no way to convert these to hydraulic. The design (in part carried over from the gear in sump Douvrin engines of the 70's) makes it impractical.
What you can try is getting them adjusted properly. There's a tool call 'click adjust' which makes the job easier than using feeler gauges. Google it - there's a youtube vid of how to use it too.
