#7: Re: What is this? Author: gti180boy, Location: StaffordPosted: Sun Jul 17, 2011 3:33 pm ---- Its the breather of the vac solenoid for the air flap in the standed air box that opens up to let more air in the engine when higher up the rev range /vvt comes in etc.
If you have the k@n typhoon kit you get blanking plugs to put on the solenoid as you wont need it any more. if you remove it completely if brings fault code up in ecu so thats why you get blanking plugs.
