#1: Fitting Of Folding Mirrors Author: Mark!, Location: NottinghamshirePosted: Sun Jul 24, 2011 7:22 am ---- Hey guys,
Quick question, i have just bought some folding mirrors off a GT model which come with the switch and wiring loom. Is that everything i need to swop my existing non electrical folding mirrors off my HDI?
Thanks

To answer your questions, yes, that should be everything

Then 10 in the cabin loom

#5: Re: Fitting Of Folding Mirrors Author: Mark!, Location: NottinghamshirePosted: Sun Jul 24, 2011 9:39 am ---- Just looked at my wires coming from the mirrors and I have 7 on the passengers and 5 on the drivers side. Does this mean that they were not already installed in and the looms will need changing?
#6: Re: Fitting Of Folding Mirrors Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Jul 24, 2011 9:40 am ---- 5 from each mirror go to the switch
2 from each mirror go to the rear heated window button
2 from pass window go to mfd
You need new looms

#8: Re: Fitting Of Folding Mirrors Author: Mark!, Location: NottinghamshirePosted: Sun Jul 24, 2011 9:46 am ---- If i do not end up having the looms with these new ones i bought when they come, is there places i can get them already made up?
#9: Re: Fitting Of Folding Mirrors Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Jul 24, 2011 9:54 am ---- No you'd either have to change the cabin loom, or make your own.

This is the wiring i got with the mirrors. I believe they are the door looms so is that everything i require if i have the switch aswell? And how simple is it to connect?
Thanks

#12: Re: Fitting Of Folding Mirrors Author: Mark!, Location: NottinghamshirePosted: Fri Jul 29, 2011 11:20 am ---- No. which section is that?
#13: Re: Fitting Of Folding Mirrors Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Fri Jul 29, 2011 12:05 pm ---- Where the mirror switch is.
That should have been your first port of call before you bought anything.
