#1: New Red n White Project Thread *Update Page 7 - 26/1/2012* Author: craigy00craig, Location: surreyPosted: Mon Jul 25, 2011 12:56 pm ---- I bought Jared's (PugJH) old car about 2 weeks ago. 53 1.1 style
There has been a lot of work put into this car by Jared so I thought it would make sense to put a link to his original project thread. Not really fair I take the credit for how the car looks at the moment lol.
and will post some pictures up when they get delivered and put them on
So far I have fitted a Cupra R splitter and my grenade dustcaps from my old car
anyway here are some pictures
I think the next mod needs to be a wash tho!! Last edited by craigy00craig on Thu Jan 26, 2012 9:43 am; edited 13 times in total

everything else is looking smart!

insurance was going to be £130 a month
#7: Re: New Red n White Project Thread Author: Robert594, Location: InveruriePosted: Mon Jul 25, 2011 1:49 pm ---- I wouldlove it if my insurance was 130 a month That'd be a £30 drop from what mine currently is. And thats just for a 1.4..Cant wait until it eventually goes down.
But i agree about the wheels.
#8: Re: New Red n White Project Thread Author: craigy00craig, Location: surreyPosted: Mon Jul 25, 2011 2:05 pm ---- What wheels do you think would look good?
#9: Re: New Red n White Project Thread Author: rttam, Location: devonPosted: Mon Jul 25, 2011 2:08 pm ---- to be honest i think the wheels look awesome
#10: Re: New Red n White Project Thread Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Mon Jul 25, 2011 3:20 pm ---- Wheels look fine as they are, even better with a clean just needs less arch gap and its perfect

If your going red and white I would say white Nimrod's.
#12: Re: New Red n White Project Thread Author: craigy00craig, Location: surreyPosted: Mon Jul 25, 2011 3:30 pm ---- I do like the wheels but with them only being 15" it really does leave a massive gap between the tyre and the arch and i cant afford to get it lowered properly.... probably could afford some springs to drop it a little bit, you think it would be worth it?

Yep, if you change them. Get these, don't get vortex they are to big for the 1.1 especially if your looking to lower it. That my opinion anyway.
But then again some people hate the 205 1.9s some love them, think with a nice clean they will come up pretty well, if you do sell them let me know lol, could be a drive up to you for me haha.
Or get some cotya/tempests in white. Look pretty nice I think
