Cheers guys. Wasnt my idea so cant really take the credit for it lol. Yer Ben its not as good as having it on the windscreen when it comes to visability but its just so much easier not having to mess around sticking it on and getting ring marks etc. and i use it quite a lot so its just quicker to flip it up and down really Smile

Errm BSI i think its 5? Think it had a blue one originally and i think Jared had a black leather one, red and black leather from a cc, the red cloth one that was in it when i bought it and now the 180 one.

Another small update. Hopefully going to have some money soon to do some slightly more interesting things but here is what I've done recently..

Got some SMD LED bulbs and put them in the side lights and number plate lights. My friend said that these will cause an MOT failure, is this true? If so i need to get a regular 501 bulb. Also the passenger side sidelight looks a lot brighter but this is just the camera and out lighting outside.

Also got some LED reversing bulbs, could someone let me know if this is also an MOT failure, is so i will swap the bulbs round when the time comes.

If someone could let me know about the MOT it would be appreciated Smile

Had a massive brainwave today (this doesn't happen often with me).

The wiring for my morettes my friend did was super dodgy, there was loads of tape and it just looked like a mess and was worried that this would cause it to fail its MOT.

Then i just thought... whats stopping me taking the H7 plugs out of the old crystal headlights and connecting them up to the bulbs in the morettes? The answer was nothing, so i did and it worked Very Happy

Snapped the plastic bits round the plug in order to get it out

and then i just plugged this into the car, connected it to the bulbs in the Morettes and it worked a treat.

Why this didnt cross my mind at the time when i was crying that i didnt know how to get them connected i dont know.

I was told that those types of bulbs were a MOT failure when I fitted them BUT I have passed 2 MOT's since I've had them. Wither that it luck or not I don't know. I suppose the bulbs are cheap enough if you don't want to take the risk.

Car is looking good btw, keep it up!!

Well I'm getting a new car so have been putting the car back to as standard as I can before I get rid. It's a shame to se it go, knowing how much money and work has gone into it over its life of being owned my members of 206info.

However, we all have to move on so this is where we bid adéu to Red n White. So long my friend, you have served me well :'(

On the plus side... I'll be getting this soon Very Happy
