i resprayed my front bumper and fitted the trs tow strap.

how did you attach the tow strap and get the old tow eye off mines bent and i wanna get it off and my strap on Confused

when take front bumper off. saw the toe eye off right next to the frame. then drill right through just under where the tow eye sat. the use a big ass bolt and bolt it down then slide it in bumper when you put it on. hope helps?

may have a go at this when i fit my new bumper and headlight washers next week Very Happy

also considering the back aswell to match but cant see where i will put it Sad may just take the back off and fille the hole in the bumper Confused

x2 washes or plate big enough not to go through orig tow hook
x1 nut

what lacquer did you use on the bumper? it doesnt look very shiney..... :S

i havent as where i live at mo is haven building work on it for 2years now so goin get loads of stone chips. so will get it dne rite after they all f*** off

i'd still give it a coat as its the lacquer that will help prevent the paint chipping/ washing off etc.

don't mind at mo as it had load stone chips in it. small little dents in bumper its self so goin smooth all them out b4 the do real good job on paint

fair enough dude. was just offering some advice with it thats all... if it was me i'd have lacquered it anyway as it will make the prep easier next time but its your call dude Smile looks nice and even basecoat anyway Smile

thats kool just don't want spend loads of time on it then it gets f****d so have repair it agian. but when do might ask for sum advice from u as i know u very good at spray painting
