#1: Strange Problem Author: alborough1974, Location: Isle of WightPosted: Mon Aug 01, 2011 1:57 am ---- A couple of day ago i had a strange issue occur with my 05 plate 206 1.4 16v Sport.
After switching on for the first time of the day the car started normally however within a few seconds i heard a loud high pitched beeping noise within the passenger compartment.
I switched everything off however the stereo stayed on and the beeping continued. Having removed the key i reinserted it restarted the engine the beeping noise then stopped and everything was fine.
There we're no abnormal warning lights etc so i just wondered if anybody else has had this problem and if there we're any ideas as to what caused it.
