Im after some advice on changing a rear axel bush on my GTI as is got alot of play in it

what i want to know is can you do it with the axel still on the body, i know the 2 TB,S and ARB shock had to be taken off and then the bearing/bush has to be pressed in. i can get it pressed in by a mate who has a 10 ton press

also is this what i need? BUSH KIT

Would it be any cheaper on main dealer trade?

cheers kieron

Wont be able to do that on the car mate. Need removed and pressed in correctly into the axle tube

Ive seen a thread on here about it and they are pressed into the arm, but didnt know if you could just take the bars out, then bash the arm of from behind to get it off
