The front bumper is modified to give as much downforce as possible. The shape of the bumper with the chopped front fenders gives the 206 a complete unique look from the front! Besides that i needed a bumper wich had enough clearence to house a big ass intercooler and oilcooler Laughing

I had some spare time today to wash the car up and make som pictures of it. Due to a greasy clutch caused by leakage of coolant the clutch slips at 5000 rpm. So for now the car is limited at 5000rmp till the Sachs Racing clutch grips normally. The car now drives on a 0.6 bar base map and already puts out 220bhp at 5000rpm. Next month when the clutch problem is fixed the car will be mapped at 0.7 bar and without the rpm limited! CAN'T WAIT!!!

Looks good! What is it weighing in at now?

Also, do you have links to where I can buy these stress bars? I also have to find someone who will ship to Australia.

After some problems with the temprature of the engine i decided to completly redo the front end of the car in order te get it right for the first time attack session on the 27th of march.

What did i do:
- Completley removed airconditioning
- Modified / chopped fanshroud
- 12 inch "Push & Pull" fan
- Relocated the oil cooler
- Custom Baffleplated sump
- Removed some coolant hoses and replaced them for aluminum pipe

Old situation

New situation:

By cutting out a section of the fanshroud and removing the aircon radiator the radiator now gets more cool air than before, especially with the new radiator-fan wich is now directly mounted on the radiator instead of 3"inch in front of it.In the old situation the oilcooler was on the richt side behind the front bumper, but that didn't worked as much as i hoped for. In the new situation it's next to the radiator, but not behind the intercooler so it will cool the oil much better than before.

It's surprising how little of the radiator is actually exposed to airflow with the standard set up.

White_noise,

great project ! I 've been following it for a long time.

Now I have a question based in your experience:
when did you start facing problems with cooling the engine? only in racing events or in regular street use as well?

I have a regular EW10J4 engine and I'm working in a turbo project, with the forged conrods+pistons to be installed soon and start the turbo installation. It will not be same kind of project as yours. Will be much more simple. Expect to get 250 to 280bhp. My concern has always been the thermal efficiency, concerned if the stock engine bay will be enough for cooling down the car properly.

Do you have any experience or comments about that?
