firstly they charged 35 for a diagnostic, which didnt show anything because there was no engine management light apparently, so they somehow come to the conclusion it was 2 of 4 injectors. i got quoted 130 to test the injectors and i thoughts thats too much money to waste on just 'testing'

I had the lumpy idle issue and found that the air intake had a leak, tighten up all your jubilee clips around your intake, also leaks in the exhaust could cause it.
Unless everything is perfectly air tight I think you might still get some kind of lumpiness.

i think it had injector issues when i bought the car just didnt notice it until the fuel consumption started getting as bad as a petrol! this being my first diesel to i didnt know how the engine was supposed to sound so i assumed it was ok, till i realised the engine was shaking to death and misfiring like crazy, wondered why the stupid woman (previous owner) was in such a rush to take her daughter to the park!
