#16: Re: rolling road report Author: Harty, Location: West LothianPosted: Mon Aug 08, 2011 7:00 am ---- mine was on ecosse rollers 2 weeks ago and was about what i had estimated for my hdi:
123bhp and i thought 125
97.5bhp at the wheels
and 25bhp drag output
201lb-ft torque and i thought 200 so pretty much bang on.
i like ecosse, just some stuff is expensive lol but some stuff is good... like their rollers.

just because you thought it might get those figures doesnt necessarily mean that they are correct..

your RR figure looks more reasonable then the opener.
and is kind of expected

guess you cant put a single part of a business under flak without the rest going with it i suppose
#25: Re: rolling road report Author: macj, Location: EssexPosted: Mon Aug 08, 2011 12:51 pm ---- I would suspect the rollers are fine... its the operator thats faulty, I could gain 10HP on the rundown of a rolling road by holding the brakes slightly after the power run and fooling the computor that there is more transmission drag. I seem to remember several reports of cars making more HP on Ecosse rollers
